III - GIS

to join our Production & Operations team. This role combines inventory management, GIS technology, and field work to help keep production data accurate and our systems connected. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys working with technology and data while also being involved in day-to-day nursery operations. What you'll do Maintain accurate inventory and production records, including maps, labels, database updates, work orders, cycle counts, and reporting. Use GIS, GPS, GNSS, and UAV technology to collect, manage, and validate field data. Manage GIS and inventory data within NetSuite and other internal systems. Analyze field and multispectral data and develop maps, dashboards, and other tools to support production and inventory decisions. Partner with Production, Sales, and Shipping to support accurate inventory movement and system transactions. Help train and support team members with system processes, troubleshooting, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve GIS and inventory workflows through better processes, automation, and system enhancements. What we're looking for Associate's or bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Surveying, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience with GIS, spatial data, databases, and data management. Experience with ArcGIS (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro), QGIS, GPS data collection tools, PIX4D Fields or similar software. Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate across different teams. NetSuite or similar inventory/asset management experience is a plus. Valid driver's license required. FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) required for drone operation duties. Schedule & location On-site in Yuba City, CA. This position includes both office and field work throughout our nursery operations and may involve working outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
