is looking for an Inventory Control Technician to work with our federal partner. Associated with inventory control are logistics tasks that ensure IT hardware assets are received, stored, tracked per defined project, initially configured and shipped to the defined deployment destination. About Us

Key Responsibilities Assist PC in maintaining current custodial records for all accountable personal property within their assigned custodial area, maintaining records about all personal property, compiling and submitting reports about personal property, and creating and maintaining receipts, records, and inventory. Install IT equipment in the Staging Area in the designated racks per engineering input, connect devices in the Staging Area via Console and network cabling, and provide other hands-on support to the engineering team as needed. Work with the Logistics team to obtain and track SIM cards and install them in Out-Of-Band network devices. Conduct biannual and ad hoc audits of inventory and work with the Federal Property Custodian to resolve any discrepancies. Assemble equipment upon arrival and then package the device for storage and keep the logistics room organized and orderly. Attend logistics meetings and provide status updates on logistics tickets and work with Project Managers and Federal Staff to prioritize work when needed. Prepare shipments for customer projects, including boxing up materials, measuring and weighing boxes, applying labels and arranging pick up of shipments as necessary and conducting video reviews of the shipments when required by the Project Management and Engineering teams. Qualifications 2+ years of related work experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working with Smartsheet is a plus Knowledge and experience working in a government environment is preferred Experience with Sunflower is preferred Strong interpersonal skills, personal drive, and ability to see projects through to execution in a matrixed environment Possesses strong written, verbal, and presentation skills Background check / Clearance Requirements Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
