About the Role As a Material Handling Specialist, you will play a vital role in optimizing supply chain efficiency by managing the movement of goods and raw materials. You will utilize your expertise in forklift operation and inventory accuracy to ensure that production lines remain fully stocked and operational in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities Safely operate industrial forklifts to transport finished goods and raw materials across the facility. Drive operational efficiency by ensuring timely loading and unloading of inventory. Maintain precise digital records of stock movements to support accurate inventory management. Uphold rigorous safety protocols and standard operating procedures to minimize workplace hazards. Collaborate with logistics teams to meet daily throughput and production metrics. Execute manual warehouse tasks including stocking, organizing, and preparing materials for transit. Utilize warehouse management software to track material flow and operational data. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery or forklifts. Proficiency in basic math and computer navigation. Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to operational guidelines. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics setting. Experience with inventory control systems or scanners. Strong communication skills for effective team coordination. Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity standards.
