For over 30 years, our company has built a strong reputation for excellence and exceptional service to our clients. We are a close-knit team based in Hartford, and we are looking for someone who is ready to learn, grow, and become an important part of our organization. As an Inventory Specialist, you will work directly with homeowners and businesses following property losses caused by water, fire, smoke, and other perils. You will be responsible for carefully documenting damaged and non-salvageable personal property and helping ensure our clients' belongings are accurately accounted for and valued. What You'll Do Visit residential and commercial properties throughout Connecticut Inventory damaged and non-salvageable contents following property losses Accurately document items using a voice recorder and/or electronic recording system Take detailed photographs of each item Research and determine current replacement values for damaged items Enter and organize information accurately in Excel Work closely with our office team to prepare complete and accurate inventory documentation The ideal candidate is: Extremely detail-oriented and organized Comfortable working in both homes and businesses Not afraid to get their hands dirty when the job requires it Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Excel A strong communicator with professional interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in the field Willing and able to travel throughout Connecticut Interested in learning a specialized skill and building a long-term career Previous experience in property restoration, insurance, contents inventory, public adjusting, estimating, or a related field is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
