Job Description
Full-Time. $17/hour. Position Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring all cannabis products, materials, and supplies are properly tracked throughout the cultivation process. This position supports compliance with Connecticut cannabis regulations by documenting inventory movements, performing cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records in the state's seed-to-sale tracking system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, count, and organize incoming inventory and cultivation supplies. Track cannabis plants, harvested product, and packaged inventory using the company's inventory management and seed-to-sale systems. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Label and tag products in accordance with company procedures and state regulations. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Assist with product transfers between departments and facilities. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishment. Ensure all inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and secure. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Connecticut cannabis regulations. Assist with audits and inspections as needed. Perform other duties assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous inventory, warehouse, retail, or cannabis industry experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills and experience using inventory software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements. Comfortable working in cultivation and warehouse environments. Work Schedule Full-time May require weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs. Compliance Requirements Must meet all Connecticut cannabis licensing and employment requirements. Must successfully pass any required background checks.
