Supply Inventory Technician (Temporary) Ocala, FL (Marion County)
Pay:
$18.24/hr (based on experience)
Schedule:
Full-time | Monday-Friday Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent OR 1+ year of relevant experience Valid forklift certification required Valid Florida driver's license Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a warehouse environment Basic computer and inventory tracking skills About the Role We are hiring a Supply Inventory Technician to support warehouse and inventory operations for a Marion County department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities Receive, stock, and distribute materials and supplies Maintain accurate inventory levels and track usage Organize storage areas and ensure proper handling of materials Assist with inventory records, tracking, and reporting Support internal teams and provide customer service to staff and the public Help manage incoming/outgoing shipments and materials flow What You Bring Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory setting Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and organization skills Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Basic math skills and ability to track quantities and data Work Environment & Physical Requirements Warehouse and indoor work environment with occasional outdoor exposure Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs as needed Why This Role?
