Job Description
Summary The ideal candidate assist the Cost Control Supervisor in the accurate processing of cost and inventory data for cost analysis. Effectively receive and distribute goods/merchandise as confirmed by the issuance of an approved Resort retail purchase order. Match Invoices and Receiving records and code for AP to enter for payment. Ensures that all deliveries are to hotel specifications in accordance with purchase orders. Directly responsible for the proper recording, storing, handling, and issuing of retail inventory. Essential Functions Job duties include, although are not limited to: Coordinate receiving tickets, purchase orders and invoices for proper coding. Prepares all outgoing records. Inventory, ticket and prepare all items to be delivered to outlets for retail sales. Process receiving or returning of goods/merchandise through retail inventory system. Produce printed SKU or barcode tags and attach the appropriate SKU/tag to all merchandise in preparation for distribution to the appropriate retail outlet. Checks each item on the invoice against the applicable documents, counting, verifying prices on each item, and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of records and delivery. Deliver merchandise to retail outlets. Assists in additional daily operation of the receiving. Driver's license requirement. Prepare daily and month end reports. Reconcile vendor invoices/statements with merchandise/inventory. In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company. File and store appropriate reports daily. Maintain an open line of communication between guests, team members and management. Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed Process, receive, transfer and adjustments inventory in Systems Internal Relationships Reports to Director of Retail, Assistant Controller, Income Audit Manage, Retail Cost Control
- Supervisor External Relationships Has regular contact with Retail Outlets Vendors & Shipping Vendors Qualifications 2 years' Experience
- Retail/Hospitality Industry
- preferred Forklift Operator (training available) Education/Experience Requirements Some work experience in related field required. Computer skills
- Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using various computer software programs (Excel, Word, Power Point) General knowledge of inventory operations and procedures Aptitude for figures High School graduate or equivalent.
