Inventory Control Specialist Befox Coconut Creek, FL Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Lifting equipment Maintaining an organized workspace Customer returns handling Packing Labeling Moving Forklift Manual packaging Warehouse experience Pallet jack Picking & packing Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, organizing warehouse locations, receiving incoming merchandise, processing returns, and supporting daily fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computers and warehouse management systems, and takes pride in keeping inventory and bin locations accurate. This position is essential to maintaining an efficient, clean, and well-organized warehouse.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Lunch:
12:30 PM-1:00 PM unpaid
Breaks:
Two paid 15-minute breaks
Work Location:
In person Responsibilities Receive, inspect, count, and put away incoming inventory accurately Maintain organized warehouse shelves, bins, and storage locations Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies Update inventory quantities, locations, and product information in the warehouse management system Process returns by inspecting items, updating inventory, and placing products in the correct location Assist with picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment as needed Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading deliveries Use RF scanners, computers, and warehouse systems to track inventory movement Help maintain accurate SKU labeling and location records Identify damaged, missing, or incorrectly stored inventory and report issues promptly Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Assist management with improving warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and workflow efficiency Requirements Prior warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or fulfillment experience preferred Experience using warehouse management systems, inventory software, RF scanners, or basic computer systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized Ability to count, inspect, label, and accurately handle inventory Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, stocking, picking, packing, and moving products Ability to safely use pallet jacks and warehouse equipment; forklift experience is a plus Reliable attendance and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build experience in inventory management, logistics, warehouse systems, and operations.
