The position will have a strong focus on wireless Warehouse Management System (WMS) operation, inventory accuracy, order picking, and forklift/material handling . The Specialist will be a key user of the Company's wireless WMS and will help ensure the system is properly utilized throughout warehouse operations. The position will work closely with Warehouse, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Operations personnel and reports to the Warehouse Manager. Responsibilities Receive, unload, inspect, and properly store incoming materials. Pick and stage materials for production and customer orders accurately and timely. Prepare and load materials and finished goods for shipment. Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Perform wireless WMS transactions for receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, replenishment, adjustments, and shipping. Serve as a key user and internal resource for the Company's wireless WMS . Help troubleshoot WMS issues and identify system or process errors. Maintain accurate inventory quantities, locations, lot numbers, and status within the WMS. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories and investigate inventory discrepancies. Identify and correct inventory, location, labeling, and transaction errors. Ensure physical movement of inventory is accurately reflected in the WMS. Maintain organized, clean, and properly labeled warehouse locations. Assist with warehouse organization, inventory location optimization, and process improvements. Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation. Follow all company safety, quality, and warehouse procedures, including applicable OSHA standards and requirements . Perform required forklift inspections and promptly report equipment or safety concerns. Promote safe warehouse practices and immediately report unsafe conditions or activities. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience using a wireless Warehouse Management System (WMS) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Experience with RF scanners, handheld warehouse devices, barcode systems, and wireless inventory transactions. Prior forklift operating experience required; experience with reach trucks or similar warehouse equipment preferred. Current forklift certification preferred, or ability to complete required company certification. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe warehouse practices. Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and investigating inventory discrepancies. Strong computer skills and ability to learn and troubleshoot warehouse technology. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of warehouse work.
