Description:
POSITION SUMMARY TSI
is hiring a Supply Technician to support logistics and supply operations at
NSWC PCD.
In this role, you will handle routine, well-defined supply actions, including inventory tracking, storage, cataloging, and property accountability, for material supporting
NSWC PCD
programs, working alongside TSI's logistics and ILS team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform inventory management, storage management, and cataloging tasks for program-supported supply items Track property utilization and maintain accurate accountability records Work individual supply case actions, following established supply systems, policies, and procedures Support Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation activities for logistics shipments Assist the ILS team with material recordkeeping tied to Interim Supply Support Plans and Supply Support Management Plans Apply established guidelines and nomenclature to recognize and resolve routine supply discrepancies, escalating non-standard issues to senior logistics staff
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for inventory and property records Working knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, standard supply systems, policies, and nomenclature Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping Ability to lift and move material up to 40 lbs, and to work in a warehouse or stockroom environment Strong organizational skills for managing multiple supply accounts and inventory locations SECRET security clearance U.S. citizen Preferred Experience Prior military supply, logistics, or warehouse experience, such as Navy Logistics Specialist, Army 92Y, Marine Corps 3043, Air Force 2S0X1, Materiel Management, or equivalent Familiarity with National Stock Numbers, MILSTRIP, or DoD supply and inventory systems Experience with shipping and receiving documentation, or barcode and RFID inventory systems
Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
