Full-Time | Overtime Available | Benefits After Probation We are looking for an Inventory Control & Material Flow Specialist join our fast-paced warehouse team . If you're dependable, proactive, and come ready to work, you could be a member of our team! This position is critical to production success. The ideal candidate understands that inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and timely material flow directly impact production output and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Control & Material Flow Specialist who takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory locations, supporting production needs, and ensuring materials are always available when needed. This role is responsible for inventory put away, FIFO management, production material replenishment, and ensuring production orders are filled accurately and on time. This is not an entry-level warehouse position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in inventory control, warehouse systems, and material handling who understands accountability, accuracy, and production support. This individual must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing production priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Perform inventory put away and maintain accurate inventory locations Ensure FIFO inventory practices are consistently followed Pick, stage, replenish, and deliver materials to support production schedules Monitor production needs and proactively replenish materials to prevent downtime Use handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements Execute inventory transfers, adjustments, and system transactions accurately Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Maintain warehouse organization using 5S principles Support Lean initiatives focused on material flow and efficiency Safely operate sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and aisle lifts Follow all safety policies and procedures Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability
Requirements:
3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or production support experience Strong understanding of FIFO inventory practices Experience with RF scanners and inventory/WMS systems Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience Cycle counting and inventory audit experience High-volume production environment experience
