8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday•Friday, with occasional work shift change to accommodate the annual physical inventory process, fiscal year-end, and auctions held on several pre-determined Saturdays.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Florida Driver's License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.

THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.

Use the Job ID based on the Position Location as follows Location Job ID 2455 Vista Parkway, WPB 35804 Assists the Coordinator of Fixed Assets Inventories with delegated tasks; serves as the backup to the Coordinator of Fixed Assets Inventories; cross-trains with Fixed Assets Specialists. Serves as liaison to the Fixed Asset Manager regarding contract performance and representation at asset disposal viewings. Drives a forklift to move various assets throughout the warehouse and grounds. Drives to various locations to Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags to assets. Lifts items ranging from 5 to 50 pounds to set up retail store stock; loads sold items into customers' vehicles, and places records storage boxes in appropriate locations. Inputs data into departmental and divisional computer databases, as required. Works closely with Financial Analysts to record construction work-in-progress expenditures associated with capital projects and the resulting tangible property assets in the County's financial database and RFID asset management system. Inputs and maintains RFID-tagging files; prepares monthly reports. Maintains daily logs of tags received, pre-tagged assets, and completed tagging to reconcile with Financial Analysts reports. Maintains required statistics and work-performance measures established by Management. Performs duties using standard and industry-specific office equipment and software. Enters supplemental information identified during tagging activities, including location updates, transfers, and other changes to asset records. Provides support for surplus asset warehouse operations, including coordinating pickups and deliveries. Supports the operational aspects of auctions.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires qualified applicants to possess the following: Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of one (1) year of experience in inventory/fixed assets control, data processing, or related work.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include: Experience performing physical inventory, Experience processing vehicle tag and title documents, Experience with inventory methods/control, Experience using Advantage/Excel/Word/Crystal, and Experience operating a forklift.
