Job Description
Job Summary The Convenience Store Inventory Specialist ensures high product availability and excellent visual standards. This role focuses heavily on managing cooler inventory, keeping beverages stocked, and maintaining an exceptionally clean, organized, and welcoming store appearance. Key Responsibilities Cooler & Inventory Management Stock cooler shelves continuously using first-in, first-out (FIFO) rotation. Work with vendor salespeople to keep adequate product levels. Receive vendor deliveries by verifying item counts against invoices. Organize backroom storage to keep overstock neat and accessible. Identify slow-moving items and report low-stock levels to management. Store Appearance & Merchandising Face and block products on all shelves so labels point forward. Clean cooler glass , shelves, and beverage dispensing areas regularly. Maintain outdoor areas by emptying trash bins and sweeping walkways. Update price tags and promotional signs immediately when prices change. Sanitize high-touch surfaces to ensure a safe shopping environment. Qualifications & Requirements Physical stamina to stand for extending periods, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to work in cold environments (cooler interiors) for extended periods. Strong attention to detail for spot-checking expiration dates. Strong organizational skills for organizing product to allow efficient stocking by other employees and accurate inventory counts. Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying delivery invoices. Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. This job is for one location, but we are looking for someone to grow into the role to manage a team and multiple locations.
