Job Summary:

Purchasing Agent - In charge of purchasing raw materials, specialty goods, and stock items/tools for the warehouse. Use available resources to compare pricing data on frequently purchased goods to shop for more competitive rates and maintain relationships with vendors. Inventory Control Specialist - In charge of maintaining and organizing the warehouse, both physically and through our inventory control software. Use available resources to maintain up to date and accurate quantity on hand information for materials within the warehouse along with planning logistics and strategies to better organize materials and keep work environment safe.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

N/A Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following.

• Purchasing stock goods
• Purchasing specialty goods
• Inventory counts
• Cleaning / Organizing
• Communicating with other departments about purchases (Accounting, Receiving, Fab., etc.)
• Picking up materials
• Researching Inventory solutions
• Communicating with vendors / data entry Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook
• Communication skills
• Problem Solving skills
• Negotiate and keep up relations with vendors for competitive pricing
• Research new solutions for needs within the shop
• Complete scheduled cycle counts to maintain accurate quantity on hand both on the floor and within the system.
• Translate data from the system into quantifiable information that the company can use to monitor material usage on an annual basis, compare pricing on materials, and see real time material usage/needs.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED required for this position Less than 6 months experience in a related field.
