Inventory Specialist The Operations Specialist (Inventory) is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient Consolidation Center (CC) production operations through inventory cycle counts, audits, transaction monitoring, and discrepancy resolution. This role ensures accurate inventory records within the WMS (GCS), investigates variances, and supports material availability, and collaborates with Operations, Quality, and Kitting Operations teams to meet customer and production requirements. Specialist analyze inventory data, support continuous improvement, and IC procedures.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Occasional weekends and overtime may be required as needed) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements) Location:
Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.) Key Responsibilities for an Inventory Specialist:
Daily counting and reconciliation of inventory Propose inventory adjustments for reconciliation and conduct analysis Communicate with the Inventory Assistant Manager for improvement suggestions Responsible for identifying, communicating, and facilitating the resolution of any inventory Notify the Assistant Manager of low product inventory Assist with product movement, stock placement, and rotation Identify and follow up on parts on inventory hold Ensure physical inventory is in alignment with the GCS system Follow safety procedures and report dangerous conditions Review historical data and analyze current information and report management Strong ability to train current and new warehouse staff on all inventory policies and processes Process inventory and/or repair parts disposition reports Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications for Inventory Specialist:
Minimum 3 years working experience in inventory Experienced in WMS and SAP Proficient in Excel, Microsoft word, PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and reporting skills. Detail-oriented with excellent time management capabilities. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for the Quality Control Specialist is $59,000-$62,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
