Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Gate & Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the secure access of personnel and vehicles at the facility gate while managing comprehensive inventory control processes. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and seamless coordination with shipping, receiving, and distribution activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient supply chain workflows and uphold safety and compliance standards across all warehouse functions. Duties Monitor and control access at the gate for employees, visitors, vendors, and carriers, ensuring adherence to security protocols. Verify inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners, barcode systems, and inventory management software. Manage inventory levels through accurate data entry into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar systems. Coordinate shipping logistics, including order picking, packing, load & unload operations, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely to move stock efficiently within the warehouse. Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update records to maintain optimal inventory accuracy. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock for shipping or storage while complying with trade regulations and international trade standards. Skills Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for stock counting and data entry tasks. Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and external partners. Familiarity with logistics processes including shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce fulfillment workflows.

$18.00 per hour
