Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a critical role in medical imaging by utilizing your expertise as a CT Technologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a highly respected healthcare environment, operating state-of-the-art CT technology to deliver quality diagnostic images.
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (CT credential required) State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable) Proven experience operating CT equipment in a clinical setting Strong grasp of cross-sectional anatomy and radiological protocols Excellent attention to detail and a focus on patient safety Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Exceptional communication and patient care skills
Schedule/Hours:
Dependent on facility needs; schedule details will be shared during the interview process
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by referring clinicians, adhering strictly to protocol and safety standards Prepare patients for scans, thoroughly explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure optimal imaging Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, maintaining calibration and reporting malfunctions promptly Evaluate image quality and complete thorough electronic documentation Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver timely, reliable diagnostic information Practice safe and effective radiation dose management Maintain accurate patient records and protect sensitive health information at all times
