Jaguar Land Rover and Volvo of Honolulu is now hiring a Sales Lot Technician/Inventory Assistant for our sales department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Must always be accountable for errors and actions. Responsible for moving vehicles into the proper locations. Provide direct "hands-on" assistance and support to the Service Manager and any designated employee to enhance the efficiency and flow of work to the Service Technician. Responsible for obtaining and delivering parts and tools to the Service Technicians in a timely manner to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the service operation. Support and maintain a high degree of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for all parts and repair assistance in support of the Service Technicians, Service Consultants, and Service Manager. Coordinate closely with the Parts/Service Liaison to include serving as a Parts Runner for the Service Department as required, to ensure a smooth flow of parts availability to Service Technicians. Assist in the pre-staging of repair work and assist in checking in all internal and external customer vehicles. Provide assistance and support in the maintenance of the Service Department, to include such duties as cleaning and assisting in the organization of the Department. Pick up and drop off customers with Service shuttle van. Assist customers when needed. Responsible for making sure that all vehicles serviced are washed before customer picks it up. Always maintain a safe work environment; there will be no running in the shop.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

include: Model superior customer service behavior for all Service staff by maintaining positive working relationships within the Department and throughout the organization. With team, present recommendations and assist in implementing quality initiatives. Become a brand ambassador by having extensive brand and product knowledge to help cross-sell, up-sell, grow customer relationships and foster loyalty. EXPERIENCE

Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent. Must have at least one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a current driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle abstract. Experience as a porter, driver, detailer and customer service is preferred. Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Proven record of dependability. Superior work ethic and professionalism. Results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Must have proficient computer skills. Must have strong communication skills.
