at Chobani in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Summary Inventory Specialists must bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position and have exceptional math and observation skills. They work closely with management in developing and improving existing procedures and policies, preventing losses and ensuring accuracy of inventory records. Successful inventory specialists should have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of navigating through computer programs, and an ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates will have previous inventory experience. Responsibilities Cycle count finished goods inventory in accordance with approved cycle counting schedule Identify, research and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner Demonstrate familiarity with product (item numbers, description, quantity per pallet, etc.) to perform accurate cycle counting Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them) Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained daily and accurately entering data from Product Loss Forms, physical counts, etc. Generate and distribute SAP reports Assist lift truck operators, clerks, and supervisors as needed Train and share knowledge with team members to help improve their skills Keep well maintained, legible documents and create and post journals in SAP in a timely manner Be involved in implementing solutions and ideas in the department Work with other departments to create and maintain a "whole team" atmosphere Keep areas clean and organized Enforce and observe all safety rules and regulations as put forth by Chobani and OSHA Create pallet build inventory for production Other duties as assigned by Manager and Supervisor Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Proficient with Microsoft Office products, experience with Excel pivot tables preferred Experience with
MRP / ERP
