Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations - managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question. The Data Center logistics team is responsible for supporting Apples Enterprise of Apple owned and operated Data Centers and Co-Locations globally through shipping, receiving, inventory and reverse logistics. We are searching for a highly motivated and passionate Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. Description As the Inventory Control Specialist you will ensure accountability and security of inventory through transaction documentation, process, procedure verification, and system review. Responsibilities Provides daily guidance and leadership to a small team of inventory control technicians using Lean and 5S principles. Provide input to forecasting, budgeting, and purchasing processes for data center consumables Collaborate with local cross functional onsite teams and with peers in remote locations to improve and standardize processes. Conduct physical inventories and leads cycle counts, analyzing and correcting any discrepancies. Develop, document, and improve operational policies and procedures Develop, refine, and report key performance indicators to measure operational performance and process compliance. Use key performance indicators to further refine operational policies and procedures Minimum Qualifications Prior inventory management and or supply chain experience Experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar and manual inventory processes Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications Experience working with multifunctional teams and providing peer leadership Highly motivated self-starter that is able to work independently, meet assigned deadlines and handle various tasks at one time in an ambiguous and dynamic environment Experience in process improvement and standardization Ability to communicate and implement in a fast paced environment Computer skills with basic understanding of Microsoft Suite or Apple equivalent Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,200 and $156,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
