Job Description

This technician is responsible for the unloading of trucks and properly receiving by inventory controls all the material needed for SS fabrication, and the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of a CNC Router and related tooling to cut the raw parts needed for fabrication. Standard hours of operation are 5:30 am - 2:30 pm. Responsibilities Load and unload CNC machine of cut parts safely and efficiently. Assemble all needed shop seams. Maintain safe operation of machines and tools. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly CNC machine maintenance Maintain proper upkeep of all CNC tools. Safely and efficiently use handheld tools. Label all parts legible and thorough according to the summary sheet or blueprint. Properly dispose of or move to inventory the remnants from cut jobs. Manage the inventory system. Follow a set schedule and use proper time management. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a construction-related background preferred; willing to train the right candidate. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate a forklift according to OSHA related safety standards. Superior attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to follow instructions and be coachable. Strong work ethic. Able to follow all safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective communication skills with team members. Ability to bend, twist, reach, lift, and move heavy objects properly. Able to perform mechanical maintenance such as grease gun use, air filter cleaning, and other basic mechanical tasks. General knowledge of Microsoft related programs, such as, email, Excel, and Word.
