Job Description

Location:
Florence, KY Pay:
$21.20 - $23.20 per hour
Schedule:
Rotating 12-hour shifts (3/4 days a week, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our supply chain and logistics team. You will play a critical role in ensuring daily operational accuracy, quality auditing, and inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Management:
Establish and publish weekly inventory counts, spot audits, and quality audit schedules.
Operational Coordination:
Communicate daily with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure product availability, equipment readiness, and proper resource allocation to complete audit schedules.
Reporting:
Provide daily written and electronic analysis of inventory count and quality audit results.
Performance Monitoring:
Conduct spot audits of unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping processes. Document all findings in Excel and collaborate with management to identify process improvements or necessary corrective actions.
Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to all internal quality control requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Forklift certification and experience (must be able to operate PIT/Forklift equipment). Proven experience in inventory control within a warehouse distribution or supply chain environment. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP. Strong technical skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications (Excel). Strong verbal and written communication skills. High School Diploma/GED. 2+ years of related industry experience. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. •
