Job Description
HireArt is helping our client find an Inventory & Procurement Specialist to oversee the parts, procurement, and inventory operations that keep humanoid robot builds moving efficiently. In this role, you'll maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs), manage end-to-end procurement, and continuously improve inventory systems that support multiple concurrent builds and monthly production goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with experience supporting complex hardware programs. They thrive in fast-paced, prototype-to-production environments and enjoy partnering with engineering, build, and maintenance teams to solve problems and improve operations. As an Inventory & Procurement Specialist, you'll: Maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) across multiple product revisions, ensuring part traceability and revision control as designs evolve. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchasing, expediting, receiving, and organizing inventory with a high level of accuracy. Support monthly production goals by tracking parts, inventory, and material availability across concurrent builds. Design, implement, and continuously improve inventory management processes and systems. Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure timely material availability. Partner with engineering, build, and maintenance teams to improve procurement, inventory, and production workflows. Collaborate with robotics systems and team members to support efficient production and operational excellence. 5+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, materials management, or production coordination supporting complex electromechanical or hardware products, or a related degree with equivalent experience Experience managing bills of materials (BOMs) and tracking parts across multiple product revisions and concurrent builds Strong procurement and vendor management experience, including purchasing, expediting, receiving, and managing supplier lead times Experience developing or managing inventory systems using ERP/MRP platforms, digital inventory tools, spreadsheets, or Kanban methodologies Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach
