Job Description

Overview You'll be the backbone of our online product listings, ensuring our surplus scientific equipment is presented accurately, professionally, and optimized for search engines. Your work will directly impact our customers' ability to find and purchase the equipment they need. If you want to be a part of a diverse and friendly team, give us a call! Key Responsibilities Photograph, catalog, and upload inventory to our database (WooCommerce). Accurately enter, update, and maintain inventory records in our database Write clear, compelling product descriptions using company templates. Optimize listings with SEO friendly metadata (titles, keywords, tags). Accurately enter, update, and maintain inventory records in our database (experience with Excel/Google Sheets a must). Research and verify product specifications (manufacturer, model, condition, etc.). Organize and maintain digital assets (images, product data sheets). Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure accuracy. Suggest improvements to listing processes for efficiency and visibility.
What We're Looking For Detail-Oriented:
You notice the small things. Whether it's a scratch on a microscope or a missing spec in a description.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable with basic photo editing, e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce), and Excel/Google Sheets.
SEO Knowledge:
Familiarity with keywords, metadata, and best practices for online listings (training provided if needed).
Writing Skills:
Ability to craft concise, accurate, and engaging product descriptions.
Organized:
You thrive on keeping digital workflows clean and efficient.
Bonus Points:
Interest in science/lab equipment or experience in e-commerce, surplus, or industrial products.
