Responsibilities of the 1st Shift Inventory Control Specialist Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliations. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation and approval of adjustments. Act as the gatekeeper for material movement, ensuring timely and accurate system updates for receiving, transfers, consumption, and returns. Support the implementation and daily operation of the Fishbowl Inventory system, including data migration and system audits. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and finance teams for real-time inventory visibility and accurate costing. Develop standardized material handling and labeling procedures in partnership with warehouse and production leads. Analyze inventory trends and variances, providing insights and reports to management. Requirements of the 1st Shift Inventory Control Specialist 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or materials management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using inventory management systems, preferably Fishbowl. Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Excellent communication skills to work effectively across departments. Experience in training team members and establishing best practices. Knowledge of company policies, quality standards, and food safety protocols.
