This position reports to the Maintenance Schedule / Planner Work Schedule 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Pay Starting at $26.00 per hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities Count and verify received parts: Receiving and inspecting parts: Unloading deliveries, verifying accuracy against purchase orders, and inspecting for damage. Communication of parts status and notification of urgent part arrival.
Maintaining inventory records:
Recording all incoming and outgoing transactions (parts and services) in Maintain X to maintain accurate records. Updating matrixes so reporting is accurate. Assist with the implementation of inventory control procedures. Lead annual parts inventory reconciliation with accounting Conducting inventories: Performing cycle counts to verify physical stock against recorded data and resolve any discrepancies. Process requisitions, maintain supplier database and source new. Collaborate with the site teams members to Identifying and investigating discrepancies: Investigating any inconsistencies between physical stock and inventory records, determining the cause, and reporting findings to supervisors to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Develop or improve upon inventory management procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability and specifications. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven track record and in-depth knowledge of inventory, supply chains, controls and processes in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in using inventory management software. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent math skills for costing, calculating quantities and usage, counting and reconciling discrepancies. Self-motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm to achieve goals. Must be willing to work weekends as needed. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Wet and slippery floor conditions. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend and reach during the eight (8) hour shift.
