Position Category Real Estate and Facilities Clearance Top Secret Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Logistics and Inventory Management Specialist in our Linthicum, MD office in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated, and high-performing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cyber investigations, digital forensics, cyber threat analysis, and mission support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to protecting national security interests by leveraging technical expertise, analytical skills, and innovative problem-solving to address complex cyber challenges. Asset Management Execution- Implement and execute asset-management strategies, policies, and quality practices with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with the customer's policies and procedures. Inventory Tracking
- Maintain accurate counts of all products, materials, and supplies across storage locations, ensuring real-time visibility into stock levels. Requisition & Order Tracking
- Track requisitions and orders through receipt, leveraging the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for receiving, inventory management, full asset accountability, and proper end-of-life disposal. Warehouse Collaboration
- Work closely with warehouse teams to optimize storage, organize inventory, and maintain efficient material flow. Shipment Verification
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments, document variances, and formally issue items to end users. Supplier Coordination
- Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, shortages, damaged goods, and returns. Process Measurement & Improvement
- Measure and improve asset-management processes, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions. Workflow & System Enhancements
- Recommend and implement improvements to inventory workflows, storage methods, and tracking systems. Storage Area Maintenance
- Maintain clean, organized, safe, and efficient storage areas to support effective inventory operations.
- This position requires full-time, onsite attendance Monday through Friday in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
