Company description: Avena Botanicals is a small, woman-owned herbal products company in Rockport, Maine. For decades, we have crafted high-quality herbal products from seed to bottle using fresh, organic and Biodynamic® herbs. Job description:

The Herbal Inventory and Compounding Coordinator manages the day-to-day workflow in our product finishing department. Daily tasks include maintaining current physical and online inventories, scheduling and calculating the creation of complex compounded liquid products, and keeping multiple Excel databases up to date. You will keep the department organized and running smoothly, which includes maintaining excellent records and following cGMP requirements, along with machine and manual bottling, labeling, and packaging of finished liquid and dried herb products. The position works on a rotating schedule to assist Production staff in Shipping and other areas as needed. This is fast-paced work that rewards someone who stays very organized and focused.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a self-starter and team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with computer systems. You should be at ease performing repetitive tasks, communicating in a group setting, and giving instructions when needed. Some herbal experience or a genuine interest in herbs is preferred, though we are glad to train the right candidate. Our ideal candidate brings a mindful and heart-centered attitude to this work.
