Job Description

Position Summary Journey to Healing, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Inventory Assistant to support the management, organization, and tracking of office, program, and operational supplies. This position plays an important role in ensuring staff, clinicians, facilitators, and program participants have access to the materials and resources necessary to support effective service delivery. The Office Inventory Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory systems, monitoring supply levels, organizing storage areas, coordinating supply requests, and assisting with procurement and distribution activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels for office, clinical, program, and operational supplies Track incoming and outgoing inventory and maintain accurate inventory records Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing supplies and materials Coordinate supply requests and distribution to staff, programs, and community initiatives Conduct routine inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory records Maintain organized storage areas and ensure supplies are properly labeled and accessible Assist with equipment tracking and basic asset management Prepare and distribute materials for workshops, events, trainings, outreach activities, and community programs Identify inventory shortages and communicate purchasing needs to leadership Support office organization and operational efficiency initiatives Follow agency policies related to inventory control, safety, and resource management Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational operations Qualifications Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Office Administration, or a related field preferred Experience in inventory management, office administration, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, or nonprofit operations preferred Required Skills and Abilities Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain inventory databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic inventory tracking tools Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies weighing up to 30 pounds Ability to work collaboratively with staff across multiple departments Work Environment Work is primarily performed in an office, storage, and program setting. The position may require standing, bending, lifting, organizing materials, and transporting supplies between workspaces, program locations, or community events. Impact The Office Inventory Assistant helps ensure the smooth operation of Journey to Healing's programs and services by maintaining accurate inventory systems and ensuring resources are available when needed. Through effective inventory management and organizational support, this role contributes to efficient operations, cost-effective resource utilization, and uninterrupted service delivery for staff, participants, and community partners.
