Vending Route & Inventory Specialist - Independent Contractor RAM Smart Vending is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated independent contractor to assist with the day-to-day operation of our growing smart vending business. This position involves traveling to vending locations throughout Metro Detroit, keeping machines fully stocked and presentable, maintaining warehouse inventory, and purchasing/picking up products as needed.

Responsibilities:

Restock smart vending machines with snacks, beverages, energy drinks, and other products Travel to multiple vending locations throughout Metro Detroit Keep machines clean, organized, and professionally presented Rotate inventory and check expiration dates Organize products and inventory at our warehouse Load and unload cases of beverages and snacks Shop for and pick up inventory from local retailers and suppliers Keep track of products that are running low and communicate restocking needs Follow stocking instructions and maintain accurate inventory Take photos of machines after servicing when required Report machine, inventory, or location issues promptly

Requirements:

Must be dependable and punctual Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Comfortable driving throughout the Metro Detroit area Able to lift and carry cases of beverages and products Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Smartphone required for communication, navigation, and route information Must be trustworthy and responsible when handling company inventory and purchases

Position:

Independent Contractor Pay:

$20-$25 per hour, based on experience and performance. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being on the move rather than sitting behind a desk. The work is a combination of route service, inventory management, warehouse organization, and product purchasing.
