Warehouse Inventory Control & Fulfillment Specialist Join a fast-moving operation in Lake Orion, MI, where precision, pace, and teamwork drive every shipment out the door. Why this role matters You will be the link between accurate inventories and on-time deliveries, supporting shipping, receiving, and production control throughout a 3-6 month contract at $19.00/hour. What you'll do Pick, pack, and stage daily outbound orders to exact customer requirements. Receive incoming goods; verify counts and documentation; post receipts daily. Audit inbound and outbound shipments; participate in shipper audits and apply changes. Maintain inventory accuracy; store stock properly and follow FIFO for all shipments. Operate a forklift/hi-lo safely to load/unload carriers and move materials. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and ready for the next wave of orders. Address customer service questions and follow up promptly. Train teammates in shipping/receiving processes when needed; support across departments. Handle daily paperwork, schedules, and system entries with zero slippage. What you bring High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2+ years of shipping/receiving experience. Hands-on experience with forklifts and hi-los. Comfort with computers and clear written/oral communication. Automotive industry background is a plus. Physical requirements Lift up to 40 lbs; frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking. Climb portable ladders as needed. Details at a glance
