Job Description
The Material Specialist I plays an important role in supporting the maintenance and operation of our fleet and facilities by ensuring parts, tools, materials, and supplies are readily available when needed. Working under the direction of senior materials staff, this position is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and issuing inventory while maintaining an accurate and efficient storeroom. As a Material Specialist I, you'll help keep our equipment, crews, and operations running efficiently by ensuring the right materials are available at the right time. Your work directly supports the delivery of reliable transportation services to the community while providing opportunities to develop valuable skills in inventory management, warehouse operations, and fleet support.
