Non-Exempt Summary Maintains inventory accuracy by tracking stock, performing counts, and resolving discrepancies to support smooth operations and product availability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains inventory processes and procedures at all stock locations. Manages and oversees receipt of stock orders and warehouse transfers. Follows Wigen's processes to pull and stage materials from stock for Production, Sales, and Service orders. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and communicates with Purchasing or Project Manager to rectify damages and shortages. Inventory management; monitors items that come out of stock and makes sure they are accurately managed. Operates forklift truck or uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Participates in annual inventory count. Manages end of project stock transfers. Miscellaneous Duties and Responsibilities Other tasks, duties and projects as assigned. Support Shipping and Receiving group as necessary. Work with other functional departments as necessary to manage inventory demands and discrepancies. Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, procedures, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to measure quickly and accurately to 1/16th of an inch. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Experience and confidence with hand and power tools. Knowledge of Internet software; ERP software; Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Requirements Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Frequently required to stand; walk and sit. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. Pay:
