This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with restoration professionals, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient handling of items affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help drive successful outcomes for our clients and team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged properties to identify contents requiring inventory, removal, or remediation. Create detailed, organized inventories of all contents, including photographs, descriptions, and condition reports. Assist with packing, cleaning, and preparing contents for storage or restoration processes using appropriate tools and techniques. Support fire restoration, flood restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement projects by ensuring contents are handled safely and efficiently. Utilize Encircle software to document contents valuation and facilitate insurance claims processing. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for disassembly or cleaning tasks related to contents management. Follow strict safety protocols including respiratory protection measures during handling of hazardous materials like mold or asbestos. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction, cleaning, or property management is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement procedures. Familiarity with Xactimate software for estimating and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration-related equipment. Strong understanding of safety practices including respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials. Ability to work efficiently in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail.
