Contract Job Duties:
Verifies, requisitions, and replenishes PAR inventory levels in nursing PAR areas while maintaining appropriate levels for daily operations. Prepares chargeable supplies for dispensing and distribution. Identifies instruments, trays, and supplies needing restocking. Delivers med/surg PAR supplies according to their priority. Accepts and fills verbal, phone, EPIC, and Hand Held Terminal requests. Keeps assigned PAR areas clean and organized according to bin locations (Distribution). Prepares mobile medical equipment for use on relief shift. Verifies package integrity and removes or replaces damaged or expired items. Checks in stock and non-stock items, reports discrepancies. Performs cycle counts as requested. Verifies product expiration dates and rotates products to prevent outdating. Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
Job Requirements:
2+ years of Inventory Control experience in a Health Care Setting 1+ year of Medical Terminology experience
Basic Computer Skills High School Graduate or Equivalent Schedule:
Day Shift 8 am - 5 pm 5x8 40 hours/week SAL01
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
