Contract (1-Year Contract) About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Engineering Operations Inventory Specialist for a leading technology and engineering organization in Shakopee, MN. In this role, you'll help support engineering operations by maintaining inventory readiness, tracking critical materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business and customer requirements are met. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in inventory control within a manufacturing, engineering, or operations environment. What You'll Do:
Monitor and maintain drive inventory levels to support engineering, development, and customer needs. Track inventory readiness and ensure materials are available to meet operational requirements and service-level objectives. Support inventory troubleshooting, incident response, and resolution of operational disruptions. Maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to communicate inventory status and operational health. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams while supporting audits, reconciliations, and process improvements. What You Need to
Bring:
5+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, operations support, or supply chain environments. Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, data center, or R D operations settings. Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and inventory accuracy controls. Experience using enterprise inventory management systems such as SAP.
