This position is focused on identifying critical facility equipment, collecting accurate asset information, and entering or validating equipment records within CMMS tooling. The role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working around mechanical and electrical equipment, and interested in building experience within data center facilities and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

MEP Equipment Identification:

Visually identify Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Safety equipment throughout the data center.

Asset Data Collection:

Collect equipment information including Site, Room Location, Build ID, Asset Tag ID, Manufacturer, Model, Serial Number, and Tag Plate

ID. CMMS

Data Entry:

Enter accurate equipment specifications into CMMS tooling using existing dropdown selections and established asset categories.

Asset Tagging & Barcode Scanning:

Scan barcode asset tags and validate equipment information within audit tooling.

Equipment Audits:

Perform audits in existing data centers to confirm asset records and identify required updates.

New Equipment Identification:

Capture required specifications for newly identified equipment and follow the established process for asset categorization.

Data Quality:

Maintain a high level of accuracy so collected asset information can be reviewed prior to system upload.

Documentation:

Follow established processes and maintain organized, accurate equipment and asset records.

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in asset collection, facilities/MEP environments, CMMS data entry, or similar work preferred. Entry-level candidates may be considered if they demonstrate strong aptitude for identifying mechanical, electrical, and fire safety equipment. Basic understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Safety equipment. Comfort using Windows-based systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and validate equipment data. Ability to use barcode scanning and audit tooling. High school diploma required.

Preferred Experience:

Prior data center or critical-facilities experience. Intermediate Excel and data-quality experience, including duplicate review and exception review.
