2nd Shift Inventory Specialist Charlotte, NC 28214 $24 an hour+overtime+benefits Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages. Track inventory movement and update records in a timely manner. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to ensure optimal inventory levels. Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment as needed. Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations for efficient inventory control. Prepare inventory reports and analyze trends to improve inventory management. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners when certified. Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures. Assist with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities as required. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Knowledge of barcode scanning and RFID inventory systems. Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
