Job Description

We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to support warehouse and stock control activities in Mooresville, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution setting. The person in this role will help maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate incoming and outgoing materials, and keep stock arranged for efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming deliveries, inspect materials for accuracy and condition, and record shipments in inventory systems.
  • Maintain organized storage areas so products, parts, and equipment can be located, handled, and distributed efficiently.
  • Update inventory data using computer-based tools and spreadsheets to reflect receipts, movements, and shipments.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks to verify stock levels and identify variances.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and report issues that may lead to shortages, overages, or fulfillment delays.
  • Prepare items for internal distribution or outbound shipping, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
  • Coordinate shipping activities with carriers such as UPS and FedEx while completing required paperwork and system entries.
  • Support warehouse operations by monitoring stock availability and helping maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
