Overview
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking an Inventory Repair Technician to join our team onsite at our location in Wendell, NC. The Inventory Repair Technician serves as a support element to departments within NC Warehouse Operations and Quality. This individual is responsible for repairing damaged equipment in accordance with approved quality standards to qualify items for retail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
Storage:
 Ensure that non-conformant material is stored properly and efficiently  Ensure that all non-conformant material is labeled properly prior to repair  Physically return units to their shippable locations after repair by operating a forklift
Repair:
 Provide and assist in evaluation of damage and costs associated with repair under the supervision of an Inventory Supervisor to make a good judgment on in-house repair vs. dealer discount  Order parts for repair and monitor backordered parts  Physically repair and/or repackage items for retail using powered or hand tools. Repairs may consist of, but are not limited to, body panel replacements, gasket replacements, minor paint and body work, etc.  Provide information for scrap approvals and assist in physically disposing of items
Data:
 Ensure all items are electronically transferred appropriately  Ensure all spreadsheets or tracking material are kept up to date for management exposure Skills and Experience
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 High School diploma or equivalent  Previous warehouse experience is preferred  1-3 years of experience in automotive or agricultural repair required  Previous forklift experience highly preferred; willingness and ability to become Forklift Certified within first 90 days of employment is required  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)  Experience with CRM and/or MS Dynamics SL preferred  Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, stand/walk long periods of time in a non-climate-controlled environment  Must be a team player with strong interpersonal communication skills  Strong time-management skills and attention to detail Benefits Don't miss this chance to enhance your experience in a production environment while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
