Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, optimizing processes, and ensuring accurate stock control across multiple warehouses. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, supply chain management expertise, and warehouse experience to improve inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and support overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee inventory management processes Ensure Sage ERP transactions are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Accountable for shipment processing (finished goods/non-finished goods), scheduling pick-ups and creation of shipment documentation Implement inventory control measures to optimize stocking levels and reduce excess or obsolete stock. Support warehouse distribution efforts through logistics planning and materials management. Conduct root cause analysis for stock discrepancies or supply chain disruptions. Assist in developing category management strategies to streamline inventory across product lines. Supports the department's continuous improvement activities, assist with physical inventories and cycle count activities as well Assist with finish good and WIP inventories activities Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, or inventory control roles. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Experience with demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), and logistics operations. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary; familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is a requirement. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
