|Quality Brands| $65,000-$70,000 + Phone Allowance| Benefits| Hiring Bonus| What You'll Do Forecast & Plan Develop and maintain inventory forecasts using historical sales, trends, seasonality, promotions, supplier expectations, and changing business needs. Compare forecasts against actual sales and inventory movement to continually improve purchasing decisions. Anticipate shortages, excess inventory, and other risks before they impact the business. Help forecast new products, packages, promotions, and seasonal demand. Come prepared to forecasting meetings with insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Analyze & Recommend Monitor inventory levels, Days of Inventory (DOI), out-of-stocks, excess and close-dated inventory, inbound product, and sales trends. Identify unusual trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve inventory performance. Track forecast accuracy and use results to improve future assumptions. Translate inventory data into clear recommendations for business leaders. Use Encompass, Excel, reporting tools, and technology to improve visibility and decision-making. Manage Inventory & Purchasing Make purchasing decisions based on forecasted demand, inventory position, supplier requirements, lead times, and DOI targets. Monitor incoming product and proactively address potential shortages or excess inventory. Identify opportunities to move inventory between locations to reduce outages, excess product, unnecessary freight, and product loss. Coordinate product transfers, supplier deliveries, trucking, and pickups as needed. Partner Across the Business Work closely with Sales, Operations, warehouse teams, suppliers, and leadership. Understand upcoming promotions, new products, discontinued items, market activity, and other factors affecting demand. Communicate inventory concerns early—and bring potential solutions with them. Approach inventory decisions from a company-wide perspective rather than focusing on a single location. You will be successful in this role when you: Improve forecast accuracy over time. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and DOI targets. Reduce avoidable out-of-stocks and excess inventory. Identify inventory risks before they become business problems. Deliver accurate and timely reporting. Make sound, data-supported purchasing recommendations. Build strong partnerships with Sales, Operations, suppliers, and warehouse teams. Continually improve the way Quality Brands forecasts, purchases, and manages inventory. What We're Looking For Bachelor's or associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Finance, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, forecasting, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large amounts of data. Ability to recognize trends and turn information into recommendations and action. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, suppliers, deadlines, and inventory needs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across departments. Experience with Encompass WMS or another inventory/ERP system is a plus.
