Full-Time Approved by: Position Summary Our Freehold, NJ Plant is looking for a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to be part of our growing team. People that take the initiative and action to pursue production line goals and complete tasks. People that are thorough and accurate in accomplishing tasks. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the daily cycle count process to ensure inventory accuracy within the established standards Analyze and reconcile all variances reported from the daily cycle count process and those reported from daily operations in a timely manner Verify cycle counts against physical counts of inventory and investigate and report reason for discrepancies Monitor, maintain, and update system(s) inventory related and departmental reports to always ensure inventory accuracy daily Conduct annual physical inventory Perform weekly random inventory audits as an additional tool to ensure inventory related activities and practices are being followed in accordance with all established procedures Daily- Perform necessary inventory reconciliation and adjustments for items that are due to picking or replenishing errors to ensure inventory accuracy within our system Run reports to determine lot control products that require disposal, or testing to extend expiration dating Responsible for reporting any safety hazards, unsafe working conditions or suspicious activities/people to the Plant Manager, security, safety committee member or any management team member Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area keeping a constant watch for any safety issues Process all returns Analyze inventory levels of the In-transit, Adjustment and Shipment warehouses and locations (3PL).
Responsibilities include:
Following all company safety policies and procedures. Immediately reporting unsafe conditions, injuries, near misses, spills, or equipment concerns. Using required PPE properly. Participating in safety training and meetings. Following lockout/tagout, machine guarding, hazard communication, emergency response, and other required safety practices. Stopping work or escalating concerns when an unsafe condition exists. Quality Responsibilities The employee is responsible for supporting product and process quality by: Following quality standards, specifications, and inspection requirements. Reporting nonconforming materials, products, or processes. Completing required quality documentation accurately. Participating in corrective actions or continuous improvement activities. Understanding how the role impacts customer satisfaction, compliance, and company performance. Required Qualifications The successful candidate must have: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing with extensive knowledge in operations as it relates to Inventory Control functions High school diploma or equivalent Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office specializing in advanced Excel Knowledge and experience with Inventory Management Systems, E1/DSI preferred Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment Basic math skills Excellent communication skill set (verbal, written, etc.) Forklift certified required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Physical Requirements The physical demands of this position may include: Standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods. Lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 60 pounds. Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, or shoulder movements. Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, face shields, or protective clothing.Note:
