Parts Manager / Service Manager Position Summary Hughes Brothers Equipment is seeking a dependable and organized Parts Assistant to support our agricultural hydraulic equipment service operations. The Parts Assistant is responsible for assisting with parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, and issuing parts to technicians and customers. This position plays a key role in ensuring our service department has the right parts available to maintain and repair agricultural hydraulic systems and equipment efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist customers and service technicians with identifying and locating replacement parts. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts. Process parts orders, returns, warranties, and exchanges. Pull and stage parts for scheduled service and repair jobs. Assist in researching and sourcing hard-to-find hydraulic and agricultural equipment parts. Keep the parts department clean, organized, and properly labeled. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock replenishment is needed. Operate inventory management and point-of-sale systems accurately. Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone. Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous parts, warehouse, agricultural equipment, or mechanical experience preferred. Knowledge of agricultural equipment, hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and components is a plus. Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Comfortable working in a warehouse and shop environment.
