Part-Time | Up to 25 Hours Per Week Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday Saturdays are required and non-negotiable Pay based on experience, current abilities and skill level Victoria's Bridal Shoppe is looking for a highly organized, dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bridal Inventory & Operations Coordinator . This is an important behind-the-scenes role that helps keep our bridal shop organized, accurate and running smoothly. The right person will be responsible for receiving and managing bridal gown inventory, carefully checking bride orders, maintaining accurate records, preparing gowns and communicating with brides as their orders arrive. This is not simply a stockroom or receiving position . You will also answer phones, greet customers, communicate with brides and work closely with our sales team. We are looking for someone who enjoys organization, takes pride in accuracy and understands that the smallest details matter when handling a bride's wedding gown. Primary Responsibilities Receive bridal gowns, accessories and incoming merchandise Carefully unpack and inspect merchandise as it arrives Double-check bride orders against purchase orders and customer records Verify gown style, size, color and other order details for accuracy Identify and communicate any order discrepancies immediately Accurately document incoming merchandise and bride orders in our computer system Manage bride orders from the time they arrive through customer pickup Organize and maintain bride special orders Manage and organize new store inventory as it arrives Steam bridal gowns and prepare merchandise for customer pickup or the sales floor Maintain organized inventory, receiving and storage areas Answer incoming phone calls professionally Take detailed and accurate phone messages and customer notes Communicate with brides regarding gown arrivals, pickups and appointments Greet brides and customers entering the store when needed Assist the sales team with operational needs throughout the day Help maintain a clean, organized and professional store environment Perform light cleaning and general upkeep Lift, carry and move bridal gowns and merchandise weighing up to approximately 20 lbs. The Person We Are Looking For You may be a great fit if you are someone who: Notices details other people may overlook Naturally double-checks your work Loves keeping things organized Takes excellent notes and follows through Can manage several tasks without losing track of important details Is comfortable using computers and learning new software Communicates confidently and professionally on the phone Enjoys both customer interaction and detailed behind-the-scenes work Can work independently and recognize what needs to be done Takes ownership of responsibilities Is dependable, punctual and consistent Required Skills Strong organizational skills Exceptional attention to detail Strong written note-taking and documentation skills Comfortable using computers and learning new software Strong professional phone skills Excellent communication skills Ability to interact warmly and professionally with brides and their families Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to approximately 20 lbs. Previous experience in inventory management, receiving, retail operations, order processing, customer service, office administration, shipping/receiving or merchandise management is helpful, but bridal experience is not required. Schedule This is a part-time position of up to approximately 25 hours per week .
Regular workdays are:
Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday Saturday availability is required and is non-negotiable. Candidates who are not consistently available on Saturdays should not apply. Compensation Hourly compensation will be based on the candidate's current experience, demonstrated abilities and skill level . We are willing to train the right person on our bridal-specific processes and software, but we are looking for someone who already brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism and computer confidence to the position. About Victoria's Bridal Shoppe Victoria's Bridal Shoppe has been serving Western New York brides since 1937. We are an established bridal salon specializing exclusively in bridal gowns and providing a highly personalized experience for every bride who walks through our doors. Because a wedding gown is one of the most important purchases many of our customers will ever make, accuracy, organization and customer care are extremely important in this position. Pay:
