Job Description

The Dispensary Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy and structure. The inventory specialist must pay close attention to detail and ensure inventory orders are accurately tracked in excel and in the Blaze POS system. The ideal candidate has an open flexible schedule and excellent communication skills. The candidate should also have a working knowledge of Ariett invoicing systems, Blaze, Headset and the Microsoft Suite. The inventory specialist works hand in hand with the Director of Procurement and Operations, BOH manager and the dispensary marketing coordinator. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for timely product reorders and should have a good rapport with various brand contacts. Responsibilities Product Reorders Data entry (Batches numbers, product information, expiration dates, product tagging on E-Comm platforms) Weekly vault walk-through for compliance Weekly touch bases with Marketing Coordinator and Director of Procurement Ensures the organization and cleanliness of the vault and inventory office Timely invoice entry Product reconciliation Cycle counting Creates structure and organization in the vault Encourages teamwork within the inventory and BOH team Developing and updating SOPs as they relate to inventory processes and invoices Audit the E-Comm platform weekly to ensure proper data entry (prices, descriptions, photos) Communicates effectively and professionally with all staff, including the inventory and BOH team Liaison between Vendors and Director of Procurement and Operations Education/Skills Requirements High School Diploma or the equivalent, College degree preferred.
