Job Description

Overview The Inventory Specialist is responsible for receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, and distribution of rebar accessories and devices. This person ensures that incoming deliveries are properly received, inspected, documented, stored, and made available for production. The Inventory Specialist maintains accurate inventory records through routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and transaction processing while supporting efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities Monitor and administer daily activities at the loading dock. Unload deliveries using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment. Verify received quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area. Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Assist with physical inventory counts. Pick, stage, package, and prepare accessory orders for internal production requirements and customer shipments. Coordinate with production, dispatch, and purchasing personnel to ensure timely material availability. Assist with production-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills including familiarity with aSa Studio and Microsoft Office Tools. Ability to effectively read, write and speak English to communicate with delivery persons, production, dispatch and purchasing personnel, and accurately manage inventory. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Experience in a rebar fabrication facility is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stoop, crouch, bend, grasp, push, and pull. Monday-Friday 7:30am -4:00pm
