Job Description
Lot Technician / Inventory Manager Are you a highly motivated, organized professional with a passion for the automotive industry? Cambridge Truck is looking for a Lot Technician / Inventory Manager to keep our inventory organized, coordinate vehicle transportation, and ensure our lot is clean, efficient, and customer-ready. What You'll Do:
Manage and organize all vehicle inventory on the lot. Coordinate and schedule drivers (runners) to transport vehicles between dealerships, auctions, and other locations. Direct vehicle placement and movement to ensure an attractive, well-organized, and efficient lot. Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory, maintaining accurate vehicle tracking records. Work closely with the sales, service, and detail departments to ensure vehicles are front-line ready. Conduct regular lot inspections to verify vehicle locations, cleanliness, and presentation. Assist with inventory audits and ensure all vehicles are properly tagged and accounted for. Help maintain a safe, clean, and professional appearance throughout the property.Skills We're Looking For:
Exceptional Organization Skills- Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep inventory properly tracked and organized. Strong Communication
- Effectively coordinate with drivers, sales staff, service personnel, and management. Leadership & Coordination
- Ability to direct drivers and prioritize vehicle movement based on dealership needs. Tech-Savvy
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, inventory management software, and basic automotive applications. Attention to Detail
- Ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a professional lot appearance.
