Essential Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. As a member of the Miceli Warehouse team, the employee may be assigned other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Consolidate and verify daily finished-goods counts from the production departments and warehouse.
  • Enter daily finished-goods quantities from all production lines into the ERP/inventory management system.
  • Enter daily finished-goods quantities into the appropriate production spreadsheet.
  • Relieve work-in-progress (WIP) inventory used in the production process.
  • Examples of WIP inventory include, but are not limited to:
  • Cheese used in shredding operations.
  • Block cheese used in repack operations.
  • String cheese strips used in repack operations.
  • Prepare the next day's inventory count sheets for the production departments and warehouse.
  • Post shipped sales orders accurately and promptly, and distribute the appropriate reports.
  • Conduct cycle counts as needed or directed; investigate discrepancies and make corrections with management approval.
  • Perform general warehouse work and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for the role. Prior to employment, candidates must successfully complete the company's controlled-substance screening and background-check requirements. Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Inventory control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, preferred but not required.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Communicate effectively with employees and management; Spanish-language skills are preferred.
  • Apply basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Use sound problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Accurately identify, investigate, and report issues so they can be corrected. Certificates and Licenses No licenses or certifications are required. Physical Demands The physical demands described below are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, with some walking and bending to perform inventory counts.
Work Environment Work is performed primarily in an office environment. The employee regularly enters a refrigerated warehouse or freezer to conduct cycle counts. The refrigerated warehouse is maintained at approximately 36°F, and the freezer at approximately 0°F. Cooler and freezer floors may occasionally be moist due to condensation. The dock and warehouse are high-traffic areas; strict attention to safety is required at all times.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
