Jones, OK Job Details Full-time $17 - $25 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Stocks and rotates all product Operates forklift to unload inbound freight Assists material handlers on getting loads pulled for delivery when needed Investigates and corrects inventory discrepancies. Partners with marketing, pricing, and accounts payable departments to resolve system and/or invoice cost discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective action with vendor to resolve. Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors. Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager. Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. Provides sales and informational assistance on products and freight to staff and customers. Returns defective merchandise and ensures proper and timely credit is received from vendor. Provides guidance and training to less experienced co-workers. Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. Performs other related duties as requested. Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors. Basic understanding of inventory control procedures. Proficient keyboarding skills. Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision. Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors. Ability to perform basic math calculations. High school diploma or equivalent required. Forklift operator certification preferred but not required.
